On May 17, 2018, the Official Journal of the European Union published regulation (EU) 2018/725 amending chromium VI limit in the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC. This Directive shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union and will be implemented on November 18, 2019.
The limit for chromium VI in the Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and (EU) 2018/725 is as follows:

This amendment mainly reduced the limit value for chromium VI migration in scraped-off toy material. All of toy export to EU countries shall meet new requirement of chromium VI limit since Nov. 18th, 2019. In addition, on April 2017, the Official Journal of the European Union published regulation (EU) EU 2017/738 amending lead limit in the Toy Safety directive 2009/48/EC, which will be implemented on October 28, 2018.
